Rather than an immediate transaction, consignment is a partnership where we act as the intermediary of your investment. We manage the entire process of the sale, from meticulous presentation to final acquisition, so that the transition remains as seamless as the original purchase. Our role is to preserve the value, and ease throughout the process.

How does consigning work?
Simply submit clear images and details of your piece. From there, we will provide a preliminary valuation and guide you through the next steps. If accepted, we arrange secure shipping or private delivery coordination. Effortless. Discreet. Direct.
How do you price my piece?
Luxury pricing has risen significantly in recent years, and we understand both market reality and brand heritage. We assess brand and model, current retail pricing, condition, market demand, and rarity. Our goal is not to devalue a creation for speed. It is to position it intelligently so it finds the right home, at the right price.
No receipt, dust bag, or box?
In our experience, the most discerning clients rarely hold onto dust bags and boxes indefinitely. Life (and closet space) simply does not always allow for it. Original packaging is welcome where available, but never a requirement. Where presentation materials are needed, we will source them thoughtfully, selected to reflect the prestige of your piece; at a modest fee. Your piece will enter it's new chapter as well presented as possible.
Refreshing prior to listing
Some pieces have been resting. Stored carefully, loved well, but perhaps in need of a considered refresh before being introduced to their next owner. Where minor restoration is appropriate, we will assess the piece thoroughly and should any work be recommended, we coordinate exclusively through trusted restorers we know and rely upon. Any refreshing is subject to a fee, and nothing is undertaken without your knowledge and approval. Your piece will begin its next chapter in the condition it deserves.
What do I retain from the sale?
Our placement fee reflects the care, authentication, presentation, and expertise invested in finding your piece its next chapter. The table below shows what you retain from each sale. When and how do I get paid?
Payments are made every Tuesday via bank transfer with remittance advice by email. Sales summaries are available on request at any time. If your piece remains unsold, price reductions are recommended every 6 to 8 weeks and are always subject to your approval.

How do I receive my purchase?
Every piece travels with the same consideration it was acquired with. All shipments are fully insured to the value of the item, with shipping costs quoted transparently prior to purchase. No surprises, no ambiguity. We work with clients globally and coordinate secure, insured international shipping to ensure seamless transactions across borders. For our Sydney clients, purchases exceeding $15,000 are delivered via our complimentary white-glove service. Your creation is brought directly to your door, handled with care, and offered simply as a gesture of gratitude for the trust you have placed in us.

While our base of operations is in Sydney, New South Wales, we have dedicated Bag Trader partners in Perth and Melbourne making us one of the most accessible luxury consignment houses in Australia. Our authentication service is available independently, for any piece you wish to verify.
